The Dessa by Helen Kaminski is a beautifully raffia-braided Fedora. It features an extra large wide brim that has a flexi-wiring edge allowing you to shape the brim to your unique style. Dessa sizing can be adjusted with either a hand rolled raffia string around the crown or inner band with tie.

Helen Kaminski source's the finest, sustainably harvested Madagascan raffia to create their signature raffia braid. The artisans create long, continuous coils by gradually feeding new strands of raffia into the braid so there are no visible joins.

Raffia has a natural resin making it innately soft, supple and resilient; Unlike straw, raffia has longevity and won't crack or get brittle over time.
